1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Kavro (the “Service”), operated by Kavro (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kavro. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Authentication is handled by Clerk; their terms and privacy policy also apply to account management.

4. Plans and billing

Kavro offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no refunds are issued for partial periods, except where required by law.

We may change pricing with reasonable notice. New pricing applies from your next renewal.

5. Your content

You own the tasks, notes, and other content you create in Kavro (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to store, back up, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train AI models.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the Service's security;
resell, sublicense, or abuse the Service beyond normal use;
use the Service to send spam or harmful content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Kavro online, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may occasionally need to perform maintenance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kavro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
